The true colours of the Canadian elite running the show were revealed during the COVID 19 take over. My great-great-grandfather Donald Alexander Smith was a Father of Confederation (1867). It was his company CP Rail that built the line that united the country. He was also a member of Parliament and worked closely with John A. Macdonald. He was also one of the founders of the Bank of Montreal . He started his career as a post manager for the Hudson's Bay company, one of our oldest corporation. His wife was a full blooded Cree lady and he was born in Scotland. Trudeau walked away from the mess he made with zero accountability.
Canadians have been suffering for years yet everyone seems to be pin pointing Trump as the issue, this is only a recent addition to Canada's internal issues.
If you are put in the position as leader of your country it is your duty to keep your biggest trade partners close and on good terms, Trudeau failed, his petulant behaviour toward Trump goes back to 2016 has not been forgotten hence his hasty departure.
Fix the problem, don't go down the same path as the UK.
