I could never forget that feeling of the last day of school every year. I'd get butterflies the night before thinking about all the Domino's pizza and ice cream I was going to eat while we watched Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory after cleaning out our desks and turning in our textbooks. Time definitely moved far slower for me then than it does for me now. Summer vacation was amazing and felt like it lasted forever; and even though you had only been gone from school 3 months, it felt like a whole year. There were always a handful of people every year who would look way different in September than they did in June. That was especially the case when 7th-8th grade rolled around. People would be coming in looking like they aged 3 years in 3 months. I was one of them. My birthday is in July; and I began the summer of my 13th birthday standing 5'5" tall and ended it standing 5'10" tall. I also began it with a squeaky high pitched voice and ended it with a squeaky medium pitched voice.

leaving school isn’t the hardest it’s leaving your friends who you know you won’t see again, and remembering everything that you did there.

It’s always sad when you leave your school. I’m a senior in high school which means I’ll be leaving my school next year. I never actually cried, but I did end up crying afterwards.

Today was my last day of middle school, moving on to high school now. I’ll admit I’ve cried, it’s hard. 8th grade has gone by so fast, and I’m getting closer to adulthood. I wish everyone the best of luck with whatever grade they are going to next year, bye guys.

This gives me nostalgia (I’m an girl, just on a diff account): In 4th grade, I cried on the last day of school, Never being that emotional 🥹 But I remembered the good memories, and said more things will await for me. In be 5th grade, I FELT EVEN MORE EMOTIONAL!!! 😭 I cried so much. EVEN the MISBEHAVED kid did too!!! I rlly am grateful for my 5th grade teacher, all of my grade level teachs.
