As someone who bought the cheap lights mentioned in the beginning - the adhesive is going strong and no fires. They’ve been up since January. I don’t use them all the time though just occasionally.

The first one he mentioned is the one I have and they have been serving me for almost a year now. I rarely turn them off, I sleep with them on. They are great quality and I love the colours. They haven’t failed me yet!

Been having the same cheap LED strips since mid 2020 and never had any issues with them ! They're not on everyday, but I still like them. I don't always get way people have such strong feelings against them, the rise in people putting them shows perfectly a time where people just wanted to make their room feel more cozy and personal, since they had to stay indoor for everyone's safety. They may not be the most "classy", but I feel happy when I DIY my room, and this project is also really helpful when I'm overstimulated or anxious. Colored lights are calming to me !

Also for everyone looking to buy LED strips, WIPE DOWN THE AREA WHERE YOU’RE GOING TO BE APPLYING IT WITH ALCOHOL OR A DRY RAG, this removes dust, if you have any dust on the application surface, no matter how good the adhesive is, it’ll fall off in a couple days possibly depending on hope your room is…

2 of those 50ft for $10 worked well in my garage for 6 years before any issues and the issue was insects, not the product itself.

Adhesive is big trust me its not cool to wake up and all the lights are on the floor

Ive had the 1st one for about 4 months, the colour option is amazing, the adhesive is great, ive never had issues

The very first one has lasted me over a year, app works great, never turned it off and change the colors frequently. Sometimes the cheap product is just better.
