My sympathies. I grew up in Modesto. The summer heat is not something I miss.

So, glad that I got out of the Sacramento Valley. I now live up in the mountains on the East Coast. Summers run in the 70-80's. No AC needed.

Ah it can happen. Live in Phoenix here and done it but you must have an iron skillet.must sit out all day ad do it about 2 pmif its 112 to 117 or so as the ground actually can get that hot. The temp in the car when you leave it out all day will regiser 145 to 150 ground temp under the car as is sits and reflects up to the guage. All you can get is an over easy or sunny side up. Heat just makes us do crazy ideas. Love your channel!

Place it on the sidewalk directly. The frying pan is absorbing a lot of the heat.

In El Centro, CA in the Summer (110- 118 degrees) I lost an average of 2 eggs a week, because my kids cooked them on the sidewalk. The trick is not to use a pan. They scraped them up with a spatula and took them to our dog.

My friend said to put the pan out in the sun until it is hot and then you can cook the egg in it. She said she did it for a girl scouts project. Too funny.

If you leave the pan out, the Sun's photons will raise the energy levels of the pan. At a certain point, it will be hot enough to fry the egg.

Never tried it. Might be able to do it on asphalt since it’s black and absorbs more heat.

Modesto, California had a high of 73 on the date that I was born there... April, 10th 1960.

The record high for Modesto was 113 on two consecutive days on July, 23 & 24 2006.

Still not hot enough to fry an egg on the sidewalk.

Death Valley, California had a world record record high of 130 degrees on
July, 9 2021.

A medium rare steak is cooked to 130-135 degrees internal temperature. 🌡

It is hot all over it’s 110 in Clovis Ca we went up to our trailer at pine flat some are out on the lake frying like an egg Im enjoying the a/c watching history hunters!
