I used to be a voracious reader & somehow it fell by the wayside due to way too much social media to keep up with (responding to comments, DMs etc). The best thing I did was disable all my accounts for a month & dive into the pile of books I’d been meaning to read. Once I remembered how much I loved escaping into “book world” & actually using my imagination, it really helped regulate my nervous system. Now I’ve cut WAY back on social media & have committed to reading for an hour each night before bed. I’m sleeping better & feeling better about myself ❤

My dopamine release is messed up with my inattentive ADHD and masturbation. Ejaculation releases the same amount of dopamine as a shot of heroin. If you reduce/remove masturbation you will go to baseline in dopamine levels.
