Coconut Milk Recipe (Homemade) #shorts

Fresh, homemade Coconut Milk is really that easy! Smash, blend, strain. I often make this weekly to add to my matcha, sip on as a snack with some cinnamon or for any recipe that calls for coconut milk (a lot). Yes you can just buy it in the store, but I have yet to find a brand that doesn't add thickeners and still maintains a good quality taste. Lets face it, most are pretty watered down. You can save the leftover fiber to make some coconut flour if you have a dehydrator or a sunny area to dry it out. Enjoy!

If you heat the shell the coconut will come out of it way too easily you won't even have to use the hammer. A quick tip 🌚🌝

you can also use it only using the coconut, crack it, but it in a cup of some sort. then scoop all of the meat out and tear the skin off the coconut. put the meat inside of the coconut skin and use it like your twisting to get the water out a towel. and there’s your milk

Is there a rough amount of water to add? Like a certain amount of water per mass of coconut? Cos i dont want there to be not much of it or to be too watery

Freeze coconuts overnight. Thaw. When the meat expands and contracts, it releases from the shell AND that brown layer you peel off. This is the way. 😏

Hey, in India, we grate the coconut and then we make the milk, it's much safer and faster
