Til this day, I’ve never had a condensation issue. I’ve worn these things in all climates any different durations, and no condensation issue. I love them, but don’t love the price. They’re insanely expensive!

People keep saying the AirPods Pro 2 have better noise cancellation. I own both, and I find that the AirPods Max still has better noise cancellation despite the older chip. They're my still my go-to for working at a coffee shop or tuning out everyone else on an airplane.

Superior noise cancellation is a must. And $500 is too much, even with minor upgrades. Similar products available for around $350.

AirPods Max are expensive only if you don't look at the Sennheiser Momentum 4, B&W PX8, Focal Bathys, Mark Levinson No. 5909, AT WB2022 and a few others.

I bought my niece the AirPods Max this Christmas because she got tired of waiting for the newer version. But I am more patient, and I’m holding out for the new ones. And I will hold onto them until them for years, until they quit working.

Unpopular opinion. I kind of dig the case 😅 they are my go-to desk headphones and stay there most times, so not having to fold them up and zip them up like I would my Bose quiet comfort is a huge plus. I like that it puts them in power saving mode too and I can charge them while they are cased up.

From what I hear, the AirPods Pro 2 sound better than the Max and yet the Max still retails for more so the price for the sequel better drop and be significantly better in sound quality. I hope the design changes too. I’ve refused to buy them for being lightning alone

I think a LOT of people held off because of that lack of loss-less audio on the 1st version. It was like "what's the point?". The high price didn't help.

about the AirPods Max noise cancelling: ive noticed myself that the ANC was at one point slighty off. Others noticed the same issue and iirc the issue was an update.

That’s because they had a lot of software issues for me personally which kind of made leave them without use for almost an entire year
