Frankly, I detest touch controls because they tend to be pretty finicky. In fact, the best thing about my APMs is the Digital Crown, which gives me reliable volume control even if I'm wearing gloves. If Apple takes away the Digital Crown, I'll be a lot less likely to buy APM2s. I'd be happy with getting USB-C connectivity, an on-off button, lossless audio, and a nice case in a set of APM2s that still have the Digital Crown--and replaceable ear cups (dang these things get nasty sweaty when I use them on a long walk!). 
And much as I thought the $550 was a ridiculously high price when the APMs came out, I'd probably be first in line to buy APM2s with these features.
I do, however, wish they would allow us to by annually renewing AppleCare+, as mine died a month or two after my AppleCare expired because I couldn't renew it. (I tried.) I was not a happy camper.

They need to be Foldable like the Sony 1000 XM4 and the Ear Cups need to be reduce. They are too big and too heavy, the squared design doesn’t help them either.

Imagine if apple went the extra mile and not only added lossless over Bluetooth but also atmos lossless on the AirPods Max. Spatial Audio + CD quality sound = Match made in heaven.

I'm really hoping for a better mic quality for AP Max. Then, it will be the only headset I use for everything. Wired to PC and Wireless to Apple devices will be awesome too.

Touch controls would not be a welcome change. After hearing the difference (range, sound, and features) of the AirPods Pro 2 over the originals, I’d like to see an update to the AirPods Pro Max. They’ll have to be cheaper.

Agree powerbutton would be great. I also think they are a bit heavy, it would be great if they could make them of titanium or carbon fibre.

Wishes that may happen:
- Longer battery life
- Little less weight
- Waterproof

Wishes that may not happen:
- Working on Windows with good mic quality
- Working on PlayStation wireless and good mic quality

Maybe do an AirPlay-Dongle or whatever, just let me use it where I want!
