I waited specifically for the new update on the AirPod Max. It’s incredibly frustrating that they haven’t done any big updates for these specific headphones.

To say the minor update to Air Pods Max was a disappointment is an understatement. Four years after the original release. Come on Apple, you can do better than that! SMH! 🙄

the only reason I would buy the MAX 2 would be the USB-C, but my current pair still works and i was hoping for a cheaper price i think I’ll wait.

Pretty disingenuous to keep saying the pro 2’s are double the price. 180*2=360. They’re double the price of the regular 4’s but those are also lacking key features.

You’re gong to get better noise cancelling on the pros because of the silicone tips. That plus MagSafe charging, precision find my, and the hour of extra battery life are the reason they’re more expensive.

I don’t think the 4’s with anc should be 180 though. Those would be a better value in my eyes at 150.

I wanted an over ear headphones for a while and saved up some cash for it. I didn't want 4-year gen1 tech, so waited for this event to get APM2. Right after the event I immediately ordered Sony XM5.

Noise canceling is always going to be better on something that fully seals in your ears with tips like the pros. Unfortunately I've been getting ear pain from pros so probably will try the 4 non-pros with ANC. I want to see reviews first though since I don't suspect the ANC will work very well on the non-pros given the lack of sealing. Might just end up with the regular 4's.

Honestly I feel like what your saying is really misleading. AirPods Pro 2 aren’t double the price of AirPods 4 with noise cancellation. It’s more like they are closer in value which makes people think between the two and if they are already considering AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation, they are more likely to buy AirPods Pro 2

I think most AirPod pro users would never purchase the AirPods 4 simply because they lack the sealing buds.

I was waiting until the new AirPods Max came out and I was going to order them, then I realized there was no damn update other than the USB port. Oh and you got some different colors . I usually update one to three products a year and this year I’m probably not gonna update anything. I am just so disappointed right now. Apple really dropped the ball on this.

The way they are treating APM is shocking despite being one of the most beloved apple product… like wish they instead invested all that Vision Pro money on APM to bring wireless lossless especially as they have a whole music streaming service too…

I was planning on getting the new AirPod Max’swhen they released. To say I am disappointed is the understatement of the decade so far. The fact that they didn’t add anything new besides a different port but they kept them the same price is ridiculous. And what’s even more mind boggling is that the cheapest AirPods have the H2 chip but the Max’s don’t.

It’s a bull**** Apple move to release a 4-year-old product as brand new, simply because they’ve changed the charging or connectivity port—and still charge the same price. By now, those headsets should cost half of what they’re asking. It’s like buying a 4-year-old iPhone for $1, 100! I’m seriously considering switching to another brand next year because I’m tired of Apple’s tendency to either keep users waiting or overcharge for outdated technology. I’m really looking forward to seeing how the Sony WH-1000XM6 performs next year. I’ve waited over two years for the AirPods Max 2, and this latest Apple announcement has been incredibly disappointing... like the worst kind for me, the last straw. They are really in every apple fan out there...

I’m not planning on getting the 4th generation airpods because I’m afraid of having the same problem I’m having with the 3rd generation ones because after a year they barely work, meaning that one airpod is louder than the other.
