First time I'm sending a Ryan video to my dev friends.

Solid and Vue are GOATs among other alternatives. Enjoyed working with both of them.

I love SolidJS. It just makes sense to me. I chose it for our startup, a solid choice indeed. I appreciate your work Ryan ! Keep it up. Stay happy and healthy, so we keep building cool stuff with this awesome tech you have created. <3

Hey excited to see some non live stream content! If I can offer a piece of advice, I think you really shine in your live stream with your natural conversational tone. I would consider turning your script into bullet points, and just speaking on it naturally in the video. Either that, or memorize a couple lines at a time as you record the video, so it doesn’t come off as you reading right off the script.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks for putting together this content! Really appreciate you breaking down all these frontend concepts.
As someone who's not primarily a frontend dev, I found this super valuable for staying current with the ecosystem. There's so much to keep track of - module bundling (why is Vite everywhere now?), tree-shaking, deployment strategies across different providers with their various tradeoffs (looking at you, Nitro), SSR, server components, hydration, component serialization... the list just keeps growing and the faith to humanity keeps shrinking.
Coming from a background of rendering templates on the backend, all this frontend engineering complexity can feel overwhelming when you're ultimately just trying to ship a couple buttons and display some content. Sometimes it feels like you're just duct-taping everything together to make it work.
I know you probably cover all this stuff in depth during your streams, but man... 5 hours? That's quite the commitment! So yes to more bite-sized breakdowns like this one.
Thanks again for making this complex stuff more digestible for those of us trying to keep up from the sidelines.

I have watched this because it's not long, and am sending to friends, wish you could do more of these shorter ones... 30 mins max not hours and thanks you nailed every detail.

Gotta go fast, Ryan! 112/10 video, I think this is a nice "crash course intro to the state of JS Frameworks in 2025", definitely gonna share this one around. Thank you, Ryan!
