As someone who does do the Olympic lifts, I can safely say which ones an athlete should do.

Power clean - yes for power
Clean - yes for power more than speed
Hang Clean - yes if your sport needs you to be upright most/all of the time ie basketball, boxing, Muay Thai, etc
Power Snatch - yes for speed
Full Snatch - yes for speed more than power
High Pulls - for power
Front Squats - yes for pushing off the ground
Back squats - yes for general leg strength but I feel front squats are better for athletes

Jerks - not necessary as you’re exhibiting power in the power clean/power snatch

It doesn't take years to learn the lifts. Maybe a month at most to understand the basic principles of them. Saying it's too hard to learn just tells me you don't fully understand athletic movement, and you're training inefficiently anyway, but blaming moves for being too hard isn't an excuse.

oly lifts dont take a long time to learn. just progressively overload it like you are a beginner and most people will be fine. people who struggle to learn just arent attentive to their form
