This is a list of what I consider to be the no-brainer choices for every saltwater aquarium, no matter what size the tank or how long you've been in the hobby.

These are all easy to keep, reef-safe, peaceful and suitable for nano tanks.

The fish in the thumbnail is an expert-only Orange Spotted Filefish and should not be kept in every aquarium!

I totally agree with the hawfish statement. I have an adult red (flame) hawkfish and it doesn't bother my inverts. Sometimes crabs and shrimps literally walk past it and it doesn't care. It also interferes with other fish fighting and tries to break them up. Love that fish so much especially when it's following you with its eyes watching what you are doing. I also have a goby with a pistol shrimp and they are fine

I have a male black sailfin blenny, and I can honestly say he is my favorite fish I have ever owned. He's an inch long fish with a 300-pound personality.

Thank you and you’re absolutely right, the Watchman Goby is a fantastic sight.

"6 easy fish"
Thumbnail is one of the hardest fish to keep.
Good video, hawkfish can harass smaller fish like your gobies and blennies.

My falco hawk fish has killed both of my cleaner shrimps(caught it action second time), stripped my sps corals(I assumed there was a water problem to start off with but after watching I saw it eating the pollups off my sps), it harassed my tiger goby to death and I suspect it’s also behind the huge decline in hermit crabs since it’s been added. Despite it being a bad swimmer it’s also impossible to catch! Everything else I agree with on the video however. Very much enjoy watching your videos

You don't have the most videos but yours are my favorite. I love the upbeat attitude and to see someone who is genuinely delighted about the hobby. Plus peninsula tanks are the best, have a great day!

Really liked the video! Personal opinion but that wallpaper ruins your beautiful aquarium! Keep up the good work though!

Royal gramma is a nice fish. Mine was bullied out of it’s cave by some firefish I introduced and got stressed out and died. Make sure you have a lot of deep dark caves for them.

I spent 6 months researching before I decided what I want. Was split between cardinal and a wrasse. Got cardinal and then returned it.. Final stock list of my nano - firefish, blue Neon goby, yellow coral goby and a whiteband possum wrasse 😍😍😍😍 Rock perching, active swimming, delicate looks, cowardly hiding in a cave - I've got it all. I would have loved a blenny, but I'm at stock capacity. Not upgrading though lol

Aww... I just bought a midas blenny 2 weeks ago. I named him Mighty the Midas Blenny! But sadly he jumped out of the tank about five days ago. He was so cute and the thing about getting them out of the tank to rub there bellies. I think that is a good description!
RIP Mighty 😭

Would appreciate you doing video on where to buy fish, especially for UK peeps

Any online stores you recommend? I've even been looking at ebay but don't want to take a risk

Dude Wrasses and hawkfish absolutely destroy cleanup crews. Hermits and snails will be gone unless they are big crabs and turbo snails. The only truly safe type of wrasse is like a fairy wrasse. And hawkfish are called that for a reason, if it fits it ships, when they eat lol.

I like the fish you’ve listed but just a note...some Blenny do pick at coral, usually lps
