As someone who doesn't like egg yolks but Likes egg whites, I can confirm that this also works for dogs and cats as a treat (except dogs get a whole egg yolk. The cats only get parts of egg yolks)

The biggest drawback is having to eat the egg white without the yolk. I only eat egf whites not to be wasteful, but knoy like the yolk.

The biggest drawback of this is the fact that you can only eat the egg whites and not the yolk, which is straight up the only thing that makes hard boiled eggs tasty
