Thank you for not encouraging reckless breeding (this should apply with any animal) because lots of people ill equipped to do it (equipment but also just experience and attitude) see videos doing it and think "oh that's a fun idea, I totally wanna do that, make a bit of money selling them even! I've seen MULTIPLE SHORTS on it so I'm pretty much an expert now!" And it inevitably ends in awful animal abuse/neglect, whether deliberately or not, usually not, doesn't change the fact that animals are harmed in some way
And even if they don't die, they're out through awful conditions through unprepared, oblivious, illequipped people who unfortunately, if reading this, would think "yeah those people are idiots, good thing IM smart and know what im doing" :(

Exactly said! We bought a house with a pond and it was so gross we thought it was empty but there were huge gold fish in them! When we cleaned the pond they started having babies. And it wasn't just a few it was HUNDREDS! It was fun watching them grow but it's a lot of work. I hate to say it but every once in a while we turned a blind eye to the crane. We ended up giving all of the fish to a family friend who had time to care for them and they have an even bigger pond now

I remember my corydoras catfish kept laying eggs on the glass of the tank and I would always see them eating their own eggs
