I feel like River and Vincent should have problems getting pregnant at first, so they decide to adopt and once they do that’s when she gets pregnant.

I'd like to see Vincent in the Military career! For the technical side, it's a career you haven't done in this challenge and it uses Vincent's fitness skill so we don't do athlete again. I feel like he might have rushed through high school for River because she's so sure of herself and what she wants to do, but he might be lacking that direction and so he enlists because he feels like it's respectable and a good use of his skills. He's loyal, so maybe he feels a strong sense of duty and responsibility to serve and protect his home. It also opens up the storyline for River to be a military wife and for them to grow distant, which could lead to her cheating.

Oh, that was a brief scare! Maybe he was worried that River was pursuing other goals in life with her rapidly advancing career and so he briefly got cold feet because he was afraid of holding her back. That's why he took heart, shared his clear, deep intentions with her and then made the proposal. He was just a little afraid to take the step since he knows, he wants only the real thing ❤

Secret agent Vincent! IDK, but something about loyal Vincent having his own secrets is really entertaining. It suits the picture perfect life River wants - a spy can't be noticeable, after all - while maybe his own secrets cause issues. Otherwise, I can absolutely see lawyer.

I recently learned that loyal sims help other sims get over sadness SO MUCH, my red gen’s sister turned out loyal and when their grandmother died she cheered everyone up in no time!💙❤️

Is there an athlete career? Because Vincent could be an athlete or sports something, and then that causes River to maybe dislike the weird hours, which leads to the affair…

I feel like Vincent would be a great teacher! Athlete would also be fitting, but then he would work most evenings and on the weekends and they would not have a lot of family time.

A good job for Vincent could be the lawyer track. He's always soo busy River ends up cheating. I would say athletic career but we've done that before with Skylar and Amethyst husband.

I don’t know why, but I love the idea of Vincent being a secret agent. Also, I think River should not have the affair until after her first child is born/adopted. Parenting is really tough and even the most loyal couples have marital struggles with all the upheaval. It seems super realistic for it to happen then. I also agree with others that the first child should be adopted and I think another 1 or 2 should be a science baby (like IVF).

Him thinking of breaking up seems like the stepping stone for why River ends up cheating, maybe she sense that indecision or even starts to think he's cheating because of his hot and cold behavior, which leads her to cheating regardless of if he was or not. (I do not support cheating for any reason, it's just for the story!)

Maybe one of the 3 kids is from the affair! One is from her husband, one is from the one night, and the last is adopted!
