Is Changli A SKIP Or PULL?

How strong is Changli truly? In this video, I am gonna dive into that question and also share my nitpicks with you. Is she F2P-friendly? Is she easy to learn, hard to master? Is she a top-tier DPS? How good is her synergy with Encore? How good is Changli's Signature Sword for the Wuthering Waves Tower Of Adversity? Is she worth it, even with all these other top tier Jinhzou DPSes running around?

Changli being first mentioned as duo swap for Encore is an insult to Changli, since Changli is way better main fielding than Encore.
Drawback for future units is very subjective. Who cares if future units won't synergize, current ones do, and will do so 2-3 years later.
As someone who mained Eula from her release all the way until I quit Genshin after 4.2, I can say. Older units with love, care and some out of box thinking can be very good and useable even years down the line after game got powercrept few times over.
Character and personality over power number every time.

I know how powerful Jinhsi is, but I'm not pulling for her even though I can easily get both of them, since I want Changli's signature.

I'm going to put her on team with Chixia since I don't have Encore. But honestly you don't need another fusion DPS for Changli to work. You can use her as a main, because everything aside from her outro makes her a main dps. I don't have Yinlin, I don't have Mortefi let's

also throwing shade at Chixia lmao. I get it, but I built her because I like her playstyle. Also she makes short work of the red enemies because she can counter ranged attacks.

Just got my first Encore at 15 pity on standard, and I'm probably not building her.

Already working on Jiyan, Yinlin, Jinhsi, Calcharo, Verina, Jianxin, Chixia and Havoc Rover. Which I've already gotten 30/30 in the tower with, and completed every Hologram except Mephis 6. Though honestly, that's just me not having the patience to bang my head off the wall for an hour to get that perfect rng.

If I use Changli as a subdps/support, she'll likely be paired with Chixia who is definitely my kind of fun.

5:50 Changli's weapon is nowhere near comparable to the Stringmaster.

The stringmaster is a huge upgrade over the standard 5* rectiver for any DPS or sub-DPS for a couple of reasons:
1) Its crit main stat is much more valuable than Cosmic Ripples ATK% (also, the fact that both are 500 base attack weapons means that an even bigger importance is placed on the second stat)
2) CR only boosts ER and Basic attacks, making it a niche weapon. (It only really benefits characters whose main source of damage are basic attacks) Meanwhile, Cosmic Ripples 12% DMG bonus and the 12% to 48% Atk% buff are almost universally useful.

This means that when used on Encore it still provides a 13.5% DMG increase when compared to the next best option, despite the fact that Encore benefits from both ER% and basic attack damage. This means that, for future resonators, it should be an even bigger boost, especially if they do coordinated attacks like YInlin and Zhezhi.

Meanwhile, if you compare EoG to Blazing Briliance...
1) Both have the same base attack, an equally valuable Crit main stat, and a 12% ATK buff.
2) The only difference is Blazing Briliance provides up 54% skill damage at full stacks (Which we probably can't keep 100% uptime) against EoG's 12% ER increase. Now, a 54% skill dmg boost is very nice... For characters whose main source is Skill DMG. The problem is, right now, the sword user with the highest skill DMG (relative to their total damage output) is Danjin. And only 27% of her total damage comes from skill DMG.

This means that, for Danjin, BB should only be around a 5% or 6% damage boost when compared to EoG. And for everyone else, (except for Changli) it will be even lower.

TLDR: unless skill DMG is a huge part of a character's kit, AND they are hitting an enemy enough times to build up stacks quickly, Blazing Blade actually provides THE LEAST amount of value out of any limited weapon. (It's effect is niche. And while it is indeed a good stat stick, so is the standard 5* sword, which most players should have obtained at this point.)

As a Chixia main, the diss against her was unexpected, but I understand. Sounds like I'll just have to accept that challenge and have them team up anyway. (Even though I do have Encore as well, I just prefer Chixia's playstyle)

About Encore + Changli being better than Calcharo + Yin Lin. Encore + San Hua already do more dmg than the electro team, so I totally agree whit that.

Quick note, Changli is highly likely to be Future Proof as she can IGNORE DEFENSE... yes you heard that right.
