Been wanting Jiyan since before launch and got incredibly lucky to get him with the two 10-pulls we got in the mail yesterday. His character is awesome and his playstyle is fun as heck. I don't give a flip about meta, I'm just so happy I got him.

Honestly it's a golden rule of gachas: the DPS is much more easily power crept than a support/sub DPS

I really dont like pulling for these 5* limited dps characters early on. We dont have idea how the power crip levels in this game are going to be handled, which tends to affect more the dps characters. Yinlin is such a safe choice to future proof your account and save for future, probably better, dps characters.

So, I knew of the other five star characters coming but Jiyan’s story was good to me. So, I pulled and got him. I had a few of the other five stars. I.E Lingyang, Encore, and Verina.

I have to say, he is one of the few characters I’ve played within a gacha game..that I actually enjoyed both the character and the gameplay!

I relatively pull for characters that have stories I enjoyed, when he came slightly early in my pulls I was extremely happy. Just from the character alone I was happy playing with him. (He is currently my strongest because I’m actually focusing on his skills).

As for the other five stars I got, Lingyang is my other favorite from this game. He is so fun to play with, not to mention I loved his story and how he practically bounces all over my screen while using his attacks. (I’m a phone player).

Encore is a complete cutie pie, I love her in the story so far and her cute little face reminded me of some other small characters from other gacha games. (Klee). I don’t use her much since I have Jiyan but her attacks are not bad, she can be a great character to play with if you put effort into building her skills.

Verina was the first five star I got, I knew others wanted her and I’m here to say..she can be worth it but if going off just a healing factor I prefer using Baizhi over her. Bazhi’s healing factor was easier to use with my teams since my “play-style” is usually just charge into things without thinking. I do like using her to roam the world though! Verina’s hold attack is so much fun though! When my friend gets to co-op I’m going to have us do a race without telling her about Verina’s hold attack. (Verina’s also a sweetheart in the story so far, so I’m glad I got her anyway.)

The point I’m trying to make is play with characters that will make you happy, whatever is fun can work. I have some of the most unconventional teams you can make in most gacha games but I scrape by mostly fine. (I had a whole team of healers in one game and was chipping at this bosses health, it was painful but hilarious).

You need a full/ready ultimate too use the outro skill. So how are you planning on using her both for the nuking dmg and her outro skill at the same time ?

I’m skipping jiyan for much the same reasons I plan on going the calcharo route so yinlin will be very helpful

I was going to lowkey go for both, but since we're getting the extra 5* selector im gonna use it to pick up calcharo and save for both the girls in 1.1 since i really like their designs especially changli

The thing is i can't really make much use out of Yinlin since i play the Spectro MC (and also Jianxin) as DPS. So i probably will wait and see what the 1.1 characters can provide and decide on who i'm going to pull then.

Those three are main dps right ?
If yes then I should probably skip this banner cuz as you said there's almost no sub dps in this game now
Or is it worth it to have 4 main dps just for this wind dude ?
