ArtCenter hosted a lecture and book signing with Roger Martin, dean of the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and author of "Playing to Win: How Strategy Really Works," which he co-wrote with A.G. Lafley, the former chairman and CEO of Proctor & Gamble. The event was presented in association with Live Talks Los Angeles and follows the participation of ArtCenter President Lorne Buchman who interviewed Bill Gross, Idealab CEO and ArtCenter Trustee, at a Live Talk Los Angeles event in Fall 2012.

Such fantastic content!! Strategy is one of the worst understood concepts. It gets confused with solutions, or plans, or other artifacts that are produced. Strategy is a framework to help us make decisions. Roger Martin’s book is fantastic, and he provides a very clear framework for how designers can integrate with the larger business context.

Thanks for sharing ArtCenter College of Design!
