Visited Caracas in 1969 courtesy of the US Navy. I was 21 yrs old, excited to get a days shore leave. We took a bus from the Caribbean port of La Guaira to the city. Very scenic driving over the low mountains along the coast and then seeing this beautiful modern city rising up in a large valley. I'll never forget it. Thank you Kurt for stirring some old and fond memories.⚓🙂

I get a spike of adrenaline when I watch a video you film as express seeing you go all those parts that are very dangerous but I enjoy it you brought back my home country to my memory and it saddens me to see that if I were to go back I’d get killed or robbed.
