Absolutely asinine how much Microsoft wants to push the MS Store for PC gaming, yet gets everything wrong. I'd rather use Uplay than MS

Thank you so much. I've been stumped for a couple days on how to change where they install since my laptop is a couple years old, and I just got windows 10 installed yesterday.

If you download through the Xbox app you can select any drive that is available on your pc
just a heads-up because I couldn't change my drive with this if you are having trouble try this it'll work

I reinstalled Windows today and wanted to change my download location. Like others I got the 'there is data on the other drive' error. In forums I read that I had to format my other drive first, which is not an option to me. Then to my amazement when I actually started to download something from the Store, it let me choose between both of my HDs. Except.. when I choose my second HD and click Install, nothing happens. When I choose my first HD, it does install. But I want it to install on my 2nd HD because my first HD doesn't have much space.
I'm not sure how Microsoft could make this even more complex and painfull to use. It's absurd and for me the reason not to buy anything from the microsoft store again :-/
