but I want to make excel 2019 default irrespective of Excel 2007 but Excel 2019 not showing in default section

The modification of win11 default application settings is too difficult to use, much worse than win10, it is too cumbersome and troublesome to set all video files into the same software

search function does not work no matter the file, tried with mp4 firs, and properties of the file does not let me do it. is there way to do it easier? least Irfan view, lets you easily do it in the software it self. But I have a lot of other software I have to do this to. So in Irfan view I can select pictures only, I would like to do something similar with other apps, but not all apps let you do it easily, least I managed to change settings in firefox to allow it to open certain files in certain software, and for firefox it self to open certain formats. butt I need to use a proper video player, so I need all video files to open in one software, in my case VLC.
only way I can do this is to select each format for the software to use in which format or which format should be used with which software, but can't find MP4.

Sorrty, the Windows 11 system resets changes on next sign on or startup. Even Microsoft forum unable to gove concrete solution
