Haven't seen someone mention this in the comments yet, but I want it to be known that the original plaintiff in the McDonald's "hot coffee'" lawsuit, Stella Liebeck, was a 79-year-old woman that suffered THIRD-DEGREE BURNS ON HER PELVIS and had to be hospitalized for 8 days to get extensive skin grafts. McDonald's knew they were serving their coffee at too hot of a temperature but refused to do anything about it or initially settle with her. She was opening the coffee to add cream and sugar in a parked car with no cupholders (1989 Ford Probe). It's not directly mentioned in the clip but thought something needed to be said here since this is what everyone thinks about when they hear about a hot coffee lawsuit.

the best episodes are still the ones john runs. he's calm and objective, and lets everybody express their opinions without ever making them feel judged or imposing his own viewpoints on them. the other hosts are frustratingly bad at that.
