A lot of people saying this is playing games, how? If he has been the primary one initiating and the other party doesn’t ever reciprocate he’s gonna ask himself if he is forcing the relationship on someone who doesn’t really like him and is only using him for attention, resources etc. Maybe he is just utilizing his self worth. Women do the same thing all the time as they should. If you go through life man or woman expecting the other party to always put the work forward you won’t have successful relationships. No one is saying chase them and become a stalker or whatever l, there is a balance to everything in life, don’t chase too much but don’t let him disappear

What this really tests is how much she is in her animus, or inner masculine. He does nothing which is his anima showing itself. Not necessarily good or bad but it does show whether or not this couple is a good fit in terms of masculine/feminine energies. A man who does this “test” may be looking for a woman who is more easily able to connect with her masculine side.

I think it's a good idea for both partners to give each other a little space from time to time and see how the other person reacts. And to do this in friendships too.

When you create a little space, it allows the other person to stop and think about what they really want, and if they really want you.

If one is constantly being chased - whether male or female - sometimes we can lose touch with what we want.

I personally think that the best relationships have both pushing and pulling, pursuing and being pursued!

And besides... changing the dynamic a bit from time to time is not only educational, it's fun! Change/ novelty is an important part of pair bonding.
