Thanks. This helped a lot. Would like to add, for me it took a little bit more than 15 seconds pressing the lock button for the apple logo to appear. Also, the apple logo stayed in screen for 5 minutes maybe. Then it took maybe another 5 minutes for the update to finish and finally let me use my phone. Adding this just because it may help someone. Thanks a lot again.

I bought anew iPhone, I wanted to transfer data from the old iPhone to the new1, but it had to update when it downloaded it, it was stuck on installing now is it OK to choose the option start over from the power button or does it damage the new iphone
