For the rotation lock: A workaround is to have the rotation lock linked to triple/double back tap (in Accessibility).

You can _sort of_ preference which app will rotation lock or not, using automations in Shortcuts when an app, or selection of apps, is opened

I always keep my rotation lock on.. for YouTube if you just swipe up on the video it will go full screen and swipe down on the full screen to go back .

One thing about Airdrop I wish Apple could make it better - to enable us doing it even when the receiving devices is locked or turned off (screen).

I have a lot of photos to transfer and I hate to have to turn on my device with face ID because I have to move my head from what I am doing.

It should be smart enough knowing that we are using Airdrop multiple time in a minute so it's secure. Only the owner using it.
