I grew up in Jamestown, NY. There were many high quality furniture manufactures there. Jamestown Lounge, Jamestown Royal and then Kittinger was not too far away in Buffalo. I enjoyed your video however, when looking for a sofa with firm seating the eight way hand tied springs aren't necessarily the way to go. They actually will have more give and cushy like feeling no matter how dense the actual cushions are. That being said I've had a Jamestown Lounge sofa since the seventies and have had the springs retied twice. Also you mention that velvet fabric is not a good option if you have kids. Authentic velvet wears like iron and cleans well.
