Upcoming gr 10 student. I'm thinking of perusing law in the future. Originally, I've already set my mind to enrolling in HUMSS but because of many circumstances I think I'll end up with STEM. Here are some of the reasons:
1. Finances (walang humss sa science hs, and my parents want to enroll me there u know free but quality education)
2. Practicality (seniors told us na mas may malaking advantage yung pag ststem sa mga college entrance exams lalo na kung goal mo talaga is mga big schools)

I actually really thought I'd go for HUMSS since I'm thinking abt law. It would help me in lots of ways in the future, but haaay practicality is the priority talaga. :(

I am grade 10 student this school year and namo-mroblema na'ko sa strand na kukunin ko sa shs, ABM or STEM or TVL. My father's dream job for me is ang maging flight attendant daw, then my mother's dream job for me naman is accountant because sabi nya mahilig daw ako mag compute ng money & magaling din daw akong humawak ng pera. But my dream job is to be a chef because hilig ko talagang mag luto, my mom teach me how to cook when i was 5 years old, simula noon sabi ko sa sarili ko na gusto kong' maging chef pag laki ko, actually gusto ko din maging fashion designer because magaling din akong' mag design ng mga gowns and my mom teach me kung paano mag tahi. So now I'm confused talaga, pero para saakin nangingibabaw yung pagiging chef ko in future, kase ito talag yung hobby ko!! Kung madami lang talaga katawan ko, lahat ng work na gusto ng parents ko saakin ay gagawin ko!! So yun lang hehe ^^

Thanks po Sir for this informative video. I'm now a grade 10 student. Nung una, gusto ko po mag-take ng GAS dahil gusto ko magteacher. But now, I suddenly changed my mind and decided to take STEM in SHS because I want to pursue medicine in the future. Good luck sa akin. Nagiging anxious ako sa math kasi palagi ako mababa sa mga quizzes at hindi ko alam kung papasa ba ako fun o hindi. Sana magimprove nako sa math this year para makatanggap ako sa stem :(

I want to choose STEM, I love math fav ko siyang subject since elementary, palagi din akong representative sa mga math contest. I also love arts (drawing and paintings).
But... I also want to choose HUMSS kahit may pagka introvert ako, mahilig kasi akong mag research about cultures and different religions, mahilig din akong magbasa at magsulat ng novels, I like to listen to people's opinions before I judge things, sometimes I imagined myself in some kind of arguments then I'll give my own opinions at kasali din ako sa mga journalist sa school namin.


I can't choose between this two Strands. Gusto kong maging Lawyer, Engineer at Architect....

My parents said that I can choose whatever I want pero hindi talaga ako makapili😭

When I came across this channel, I am already done filling out the enrollment form for Senior High School. I badly want to transfer school and choose ABM since my dream job is business related. But as I saw the form yesterday, I am confused. I only want to picture myself as a happy and successful person ten years later. But the profession I have, I still don't know what it is. So I decided to take GAS after reading some articles about its disadvantages and advantages. And GAS is for students like me who can't choose yet what course to take for college.

I am staying in my current school and will study GAS. While studying under this strand, I know I will finally get to choose what I really want to be.

So yea take your time, luvies. Choose whatever makes you happy and the one that will not make you regret your actions and decisions :)

I will take the caregiver strand because I know that I'm passionate about helping others and I believe in my capacity to render excellent health care services and I think it will helps my family and I to have a good life in the near future. btw I'm becoming a grade 11 next year.
