How to Choose High School Classes

Lmao for freshman year I picked all standard classes and got put in Honors History, honors biology, honors Math and standard English. Still have a 4.0 Gpa AYE

I'm going into high school next year :D I already picked my classes. For first semester I chose: English 9 Honors, Honors Geometry (I'm taking Algebra 1 in eighth grade now), Honors Biology (I'm not sure if I'll get in though), French 1, Ancient World History, Modern World History, and World Geography. I'm taking Physical Education 1 and Speech in summer school :) And then for my second semester I chose: English 9 Honors, Honors Geometry, Honors Biology, French 1, Theater Arts, and Computer Applications 1. For my alternative electives I chose AP Human Geography and Piano & Electric Keyboard.

I know I shouldn't have taken three history classes at once, but I think it would be best to get them all out of the way xD World Geography isn't a requirement though, I chose it because I love learning about different cultures. And I chose Computer Applications because I want to be able to get into AP Computer Science, and even though Computer Applications isn't required, I think it would help me.

I love how you get to chose your own classes :D High school gives you so much freedom :) At my current school everyone has to take the same exact classes, unless you're in honors (math and English only) or you chose to take Spanish.

wow did not know about the california thing...Not applying to any of the UCs then. i guess USC will be my only California school

today we got our request forms and i asked for intensive english, math 1, pe(required), biology, spanish, health(required, 1 semester), applied arts wheel(1 semester)/guitar, art/ceramics/welding. IT SEEMS LIKE SO MUCH ISNDJOSSK. also the ones that have / means we had to pick more than 1 but i think we only get one choice? idk

Help I realized that speaking Spanish can help me communicate better so I want to finish my second year of French this year then start Spanish for 11th and twelves grade. Will that look bad?
