Our coach always told us if the ball is between two people, the person with the dominant hand closest to it gets it. Ex. I’m this video if the ball is between the two girls, the one with pink pants gets the ball

We call that a seam and before any serve comes over the net we have the libero call the seam and then we know who’s covering what everytime, that way we can get the best possible pass in that situation

I have a better solution !
Whosoever get the ball on his/her right should take it and the other one should just show support.
This strategy works because your mind isnt diverted that much and also because most right handed players are better at receiving while the ball are on their right

Whenever I do that at vb practice my coach makes us do 10 burpees and my team sucks so we’re probably doing 300 burpees everyday

my team decided to make a code for getting the ball so instead of “mine/me” we literally just scream “jolly rancher”

In Volleyball we used left or right hand role. Other player take only balls where reach by standing and other take rest.
