Don't punish yourself if you don't make the commitment. Try again and make your goal smaller. If you say I'm going to go for an 30 min walk today and you don't do it, don't make it an hour the next day. Do 15 -20 mins and keep 30 mins your goal. People are too hard on themselves, and then they give up because it all seems to be a neverending task. Try and turn it into a hobby, find something fun to do and look forward to it. For me I know that when I'm working out I get to listen to my favorite podcast. I end up looking forward to a workout instead of dreading it.
