These shorts are the perfect recipes for me, concise to the point and easy to follow. My wife made your bacon mac n cheese in the oven last night and even without the smoker it was absolutely delicious! Can't wait to try it on the grill when the weather cooperates

I posted on several of the groups I’m in asking about this. I did a Tomahawk ribeye with a 49 hour salt brine. It had those same deep discolored edges. Nobody could tell me why.

I tried 24 hour dry brind but the next day when I was about to grill it I just added some pepper and the steak still tasted like it didn't have much salt in it at all. Ant tips? Thanks

It certainly isn't as attractive as the 1 hour brine. If this was a high end steak house and one ordered medium rare, wouldn't you think this was overcooked? Or am I missing something?
