1. Don't use plastic or silicon cases if you shoot longer clips or shoot indoors or in heat. In fact, a Metal case can help avoid overheating so I use one all the time.
2. Both the GoPro 10 and 11 are 4K60fps cameras for the purpose of reliable operation for pro work.
3. The 5.3K60 settings are fine for very short clips but I do not rely on it for longer pro shoots where I use the GoPro as a B camera (Overheats)
4. 10bit is awesome for Flexibility color grading, If you do not color grade and have a 10 no need to upgrade for 10bit (Your final video will be 8bit) (Most people watch on 8bit screens)
5. The 10bit is 10bit with a 4.2.0 sampling rate (Not sure why GoPro does not put the sampling rate in the specs but for some, it matters)

I’m at Disney World right now. Wanna know what’s in my GoPro Daytripper backpack for each full day at a park?
Hero11 in the Media Mod with its wind screen, GoPro Volta (with wrist strap) GoPro The Handler (with wrist strap), 3 Enduro batteries and my 4 x SanDisk Extreme Pro 128gb SD Cards.

The filters themselves aren’t what adds the motion, but they enable the camera to produce it if that makes sense

When you’re outdoors, the shutter speed has to increase to reduce the amount of light getting in otherwise it becomes too bright, however a fast shutter speed means less motion blur, the ND filter reduces the light, enabling a slower shutter speed, hence the motion blur 🙂

Thanks Danny, We record 99% of our footage on a GOPRO 10 and bought a GOPRO 11 last week. We can definitely see an improvement in speed and video quality.

More info on how/what to use for the phone holder on the GoPro Volta? Couldn’t tell if it was just hanging loosely with thumb screw, or if there is an actual attachment for that scenario? Thanks in advance..

I recently got a refuel from digipower which is now available for newer GoPro's that thing is really cool and mainly it is watertight, too, so I can take it with me on my kayak.

For overheating use smartphone cooling. A metal cage also helps.
