My favourite is: Friction arm. Combine this with a nano clamp and you can mount your GoPro to any place! Friction arms come with many lenghts. Shorter ones are great for extreme sports (bike body mounts etc.) and longer ones in the industrial environments if you need a little bit of extra reach. With the friction arm you can adjust the filming angle much better.

I ordered my very first Go Pro Hero 10 Creator Edition, beginner here and so I’m watching gazillion of videos on how to start vlogging and start documenting my outdoor adventures. I would love to find a mentor to start this journey.😌

Other honourable mentions:- 1) Media mod. Its way better than adding the dongle if you need to attach an extrna mic. 2) Domes like GDome or the Telesin dome. Not for eberyone but certainly has its place. 3) Floaty. Not only does it save your GoPro from dropping to the ocean floor if you let go of it, it is also bright orange making it easier to see in teh water. 4) Battery grips. Great for your GoPro if you are doing vlogs and need power all day, or if you are doing long timelapses with it.

If you're IRL live streaming with it then the media mod is really a must have. HDMI out, USB-C and external mic 3.5mm jack, plus two shoe mounts. This also allows you to remove the battery and power it via an external power bank. May not sound like much, but that weight reduction is really noticeable.

My run and gun is the Telesin 3 pack of batteries, GoPro 10 with media mod, Skyreat anamorphic and the Deity D4 duo mic. I also use the same memory cards named with no issues.

This was published a year ago but I was gifted a Hero 10 couple of months back & have attentively followed the advice on here, thank you. My problem is that the GoPro Hero 10 in any of the countless formats & settings does not perform well enough to be seriously used for any kind of reasonable videography. I have tried my best, following the advice on here, but the thing just under-performs compared to any of my other cameras, which are not high level - 2 Nikon DSLRs, Nikon A1000 compact & a fairly high spec camcorder from Panasonic, also a Digitech webcam does a better job of most close up videos. I am at a loss why these things are so popular, basically all it has going for it is small size & length of recording. If you want a TikTok 15 second flash maybe this works for you but any serious attempt to use it for YouTube content is out. Open to advice on this, I've given it a good go but it's basically just a toy.

New subscriber here.
I have the Go Pro Hero 7 Black that I have had for several years.
It has and continues to serve me well.
Does really great action shots and is so portable and is as durable as an M1 Abrams tank.
I use it for farming, logging, cutting firewood, etc.
It lives in a dirty environment and has never given me a moments worth of grief.
No regrets buying this Go Pro.

I really like the mini joby gorillapod designed for gopros. It’s super useful as a tripod but can also be mounted in so many places for extra b roll shots.
