As someone who’s relatively new to the F1 games (first started on F1 22 w/ controller and built a sim rig by the time F1 23 came out) the fact that I already do everything in the video makes me feel better that I’m on the right track. I don’t really think pace is my issue but more so the fact tend to overdrive and end up making mistakes but that’s getting better. Only assist I use is the breaking line as I don’t have the breaking point memorized for every track yet. I don’t necessarily follow the breaking line exactly and tend to brake later and carry more speed than it recommends. Very quickly I’ve been able to go from 80AI to 100AI but could probably go higher as I won my last race at Spa by over 20s on a medium distance race. Started doing online races and found I’m rather quick in the wet though which was surprising.

Got be honest, the ers is what I am having the most difficulty adapting to. I will get there no doubt but 23 was my first f1 game. Well technically 2015 was it came with my old Xbox one but I never got into it. Tried it but…

I found I was faster on cockpit view on time trial. The steering is more responsive, the only problem is not seeing the mirrors on 16:9.

I try to drive with no help on trottle and brakes but with a controller it is not done .
