Hi Cody!
I've been watching your videos for a couple years now and I am very thankful for them.
I am also a swimmer myself andnyour videos are so fun to watch and they truly make my day!
You should make a video about a day in your life which would be incredibly fun!
Thanks!

VERY thankful to see your 4 x 25 sprint all out. I think I've always tried to save just a little for the last when doing sprint sets. GREAT to see that your last was your slowest. It's ok to blast out and die. That's kind of the point. Really helpful to see this. Did a similar set today, and went all out from the first. Died a bit, but different mindset.

For some reason hearing you say abt cutting out alcohol motivates me more to do the same. I used to be a really bad alcoholic. I quit when I met my partner and only had the occasional one as he hated alcohol. But since we broke up, I started again and struggling to stop since I would have to go cold turkey. I definitely notice a difference with my swimming when I don’t drink.

You should also try the underwater headphones

hahah been using that for 3 years for USRPT training. Its fantastic..the only flaw was the stop reset is a double click then have to hold the button ...When your are swimming fast and out of breath its tough to do consistantly.

The "red" version saves splits and you can recall them later. A little more pricy, but very useful. Finger watch is one of my equipment essentials for race pace training by myself.

Cody, FORM Goggles with its internal gyroscope will accurately detect when you start and stop. Pretty cool!

Also you use fins with the parachute ❓ I never do, dang that would be much easier. Ok you also train without fins. But I should try some of the meters with fins👊

It would be nice if Sportcount develops a newer, modern version of this timer (I have asked them several times already). As stated in the comments, this has been around for 10 years minimum. They haven't changed too much, I recently bought a new one, almost same weight, same size (a bit bulky for what it does) and for older people like me, numbers are still difficult to read...no bluetooth, no wireless, no way to transfer anything out of it.
