I was diagnosed in Jan 2014 while deployed to Afghanistan. They sent me home and I began clinical trials (not chemo). It has been 9 yrs now and on my 3rd trial. I do have most the symptoms but not all the time, I'm still active, play basketball, paddleboard, and work 3 days a week. Trying to live the best life I can. By the way, I'll be 62 in April and looking forward to it.

I have pancreatic divisum which is really rare. I had a series of stents places in my pancreatic duct and they were finally removed. I was in ICU due to pancreatitis for over a week and had organ failure. I have been struggling with chronic pancreatitis since 2012. I am 36 years old and it worries me that I may end up with pancreatic cancer. However I have to say, people who are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer are strong people. I have been hospitalized over 8 times with pancreatitis and it makes you sick beyond any explanation. I cannot possibly imagine someone going through pancreatic cancer, the pain is without a doubt horrible.

My dad never had jaundice. They diagnosed him and he lived for 3 weeks. He was never depressed. Full of life. The only thing that grabbed his attention was he couldn't have a bowel movement and that's when they found it.

People need to start doing more research along side treatments you can also help the fight by nutrition cutting out sugars. Oxygen therapys. Green tea cuts off blood supply to tumors do research prayers to everyone that lost someone or going through the fight

My cousin died of this ugly disease 2 years ago. Stage 4. And he was a Pescetarian for almost 10 years! No drugs, never smoked, rarely drank. He was given months to live I do not remember much. His cancer was very advanced and spread in other parts of his body. He did not do conventional treatment and bravely fought it with diet. He went from a healthy, strong, 160lbs down to a 90lb husk in just eight months. He was only 39 years old when he died. Just a month shy from his 40th birthday which he was looking forward to celebrating in his birth city in kahului :(

I've been a surgical nurse for 28 years and dealt with the upper gastrointestinal problems including the pancreatic cancer. Just being honest I've never seen one survive with this cancer. The good thing with cancer is they realised the value of life and family. So sad but it happened.

Proof modern medicine is not making progress so it must be making money.

Lost my mother to this deadly disease 12 days ago! She was diagnosed at stage 4b and lived one and a half years with chemo theraphy and immuno theraphy! I'd say its probably the most deadliest cancer of them all, Someone's gotta find a cure to this!
