Skyrim is a game with no shortage of activities and interesting things for the Dragonborn to do. However, after over eight years, many players may finally be beginning to feel as though The Elder Scrolls 5 is running out of things to do alas. Thankfully, Bethesda paid an incredible attention to detail when developing Skyrim and there still remain a handful of opportunities for entertainment that much of the community has yet to discover. So today, we'll be taking our 21st look at five things you (probably) didn't know you could do in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim.

"Hey, you. You're finally awake. The dragonborn hit you with a fork 5 years ago and you've been paralyzed ever since."

Orthorn: "You could, you know, let me out of this cage now."
Dovahkiin: *leaves*
Orthorn: "All right, then."

Imagine being a bandit playing dead after he watched you kill all his friends, and then you feel yourself being put down on some logs at a lumber mill, all of a sudden you’re able to see all of the provinces of Tamriel

Listen, I’ve played hundreds of hours in Skyrim across 3 different platforms and I’m still finding unique places or unmarked locations I’ve never been too. It brings me back to the first time playing and spending months of my time exploring. It’s a testament to how large and how fun Skyrim can be outside of the main quest.

I put at least 400hours into this game

Might have crafted like 5 potions that whole time

Hey, I discovered something that I don’t think you have covered yet. When the graybeards teach you whirlwind sprint just after you learn the first word (or second word depending) if you have a dragon soul available you can quickly go into the magic menu and use the soul to unlock it. This will make it it so that when Borri gives you his knowledge of the shout he will actually teach and unlock the next word in the shout. This can also be done when Partysnacks teaches you fire breath.

As a game designer I can assume, that those logs do not disapear, but rather move to their initial location so the player can cut them again. The "move" word is quite important. Logs do not teleport there, they move with very, very high speed, and that's why they can push objects with that much of a force. I may be wrong, but I think that it would be the easiest to do it this way.

Funny thing with J'zargo is he isn't lying. As it stand's, he's the highest level vanilla follower that you can recruit, health stands at 717 (Highest of all followers), maxed out Destruction, Restoration and Illusion skills, and oddly enough; maxed out Heavy Armor and One-Handed skills.

Can I just say, the guy who voiced Orthorn did a great job conveying the feeling of going from, "I'm saved!" to "Did I just get sold to someone as a test subject in exchange for some books?"

The reason vegetable soup let’s you infinitely power attack is because you can power attack as long as your stamina isn’t at exactly 0. Even if you have the tiniest sliver of stamina left you can still power attack. Since vegetable soup is constantly giving you stamina, you always have that tiny sliver.

Btw the vegetable soup stacks. If you eat a lot of them, the stamina regenerates faster than you can lose it.

When it comes to essential npcs, I always loved how they handled it back in Morrowind. "Restore a saved game to restore the weave of fate, or persist in the doomed world you have created." Such a great line.

J'zargo has his right to be so self-confident. I mean, he is literally the best mage in the Skyrim stat-wise.

I've found that giving a character a personality when you make them and role-playing to that is pretty fun even fighting styles and choices you might normally pick

3:02 This would be a good way to get back at a giant and make them a part of their own space program.
