So I was wearing headphones while watching this, and I realized that throughout the ad, you could hear Poppy quietly whisper into each ear "wakeup" and that is honestly such a great detail.

This trailer might give us hints about Mommy Long Legs herself. The way they made her move in the commercial might be exactly how she's gonna approach the player by the time there's a chase scene.

And the little warning about not exposing her to heat and freezing cold cause of her plastic... perhaps that's how the player can defeat her if things get dicey? Who knows.

But this ad is legit looking and genius! I low-key wished there was a real toy of it

Edit, 5/12/22: I saw the game some days ago. And while I'm annoyed the whole temperature thing didn't happen but was instead probably accidentally misleading, I'm just gonna give myself a pitiful pat on the back for getting the movement part correct.

So if the temperature thing isn't shown with Mommy Long Legs, then where tf do we see it? Or is it just a red herring? (Correct me if my phrasing was wrong.)

I really got to admit the commercial really gave that old 90s to it. I like how Mob Games is really giving the Analog Horror direction to their work making feel more realistic. Can’t wait to see where they go next because this was actually impressive.

the creators have an incredible grasp on what makes analog horror so scary. some people do too much to make the innocent things in, say, a commercial, scary. but this is perfect. it can 1000% be a real cute little toy, but something about it is just mildly unsettling, and the darkened inverted pictures at the end add to that feeling of discomfort
