Mommy Long Legs is enraged at the player for cheating through her games, and a chance sequence initiates between her and the player. Resulting in her death as well. The player then finds Poppy safe and escape the game station in a train with her.

Poppy Playtime is a survival horror video game developed and published by American indie developer MOB Games where the player takes the role of a former employee who is revisiting a toy factory 10 years after it was abandoned by the game's in-universe company Playtime Co. after its staff disappeared.

The thing that really fucked me up about her death was the fact that she was obviously feeling the pain and knew she was probably going to die but she was MORE terrified of this new mysterious "He" and what "he" was going to do to her. That immediately gave this new character a horrifying reputation especially when he was basically right there to grab her once she was dead without wasting time which to me makes me think he had been watching this whole thing just WAITING for her to die.

(Edit 2024: Just so people arent confused anymore, I AM up to date with these games and am well aware that the "He" is the prototype now, thanks lol)

Part of me thinks we’re going to die here no matter what. So we might as well stop whatever bad things are happening here as Poppy says. Whoever our character is, isn’t relevant it seems. I don’t think Poppy sees us as a tool or something like that, she just needs our help to fix everything (although she could tone down the creepiness a little-).

I love how at 5:46 she turns her head to the grinder like "wait what the hell" and then she just gets her lower half decimated. Damn that honestly was one of the most gruesome deaths I've ever seen man I honestly felt bad for her having to die that way but she was insane as hell so I don't feel too much sympathy but I feel a little.

The higher ups of this company may be assholes but damn do they know how to make a good horror game.

After seeing the way she acted here, it is hard to believe that, according to the games lore, that she was basically a mom gor the orphaned kids experimented on, and had such a passion for raising them to the point where children were the only thing keeping her sane, and she would act in anyway but like this.

The thing that disturbed me the most about the death scene was the fact that when Mommy Long Legs' torso got caught in the crusher, blood came off of it. It makes me wonder if there was actually a bit of human in that plastic casing.

4:05 A lot of people were scared that Mommy Long Legs was going to turn on the incinerator to burn us alive but she can't possibly do that because she doesn't have the green hand.

Little thing I noticed: At 0:18 her right hand looks normal at first, but when mommy starts getting more twisted her fingers extend. Nice detail.

What's darkest to me is how she almost manages to escape by ripping her arm off but then gets her leg caught in the process. Imagine freeing yourself from death and then immediately becoming trapped again in panic.

i think what disturbed me the most about her death was when she said “don’t make me part of him”, as mommy long legs could possibly be referring to the prototype, exp 1006, and don’t make me part of him is quite a vague description, part of him? what does he do with the remaining parts of a dead toy?! can’t wait for future chapters to find out more.

Dear god and here I thought that the Huggy Wuggy chase was terrifying! A full on chase in a sewer system with Mommy's hands emerging from the different pipes?! THIS IS NIGHTMARE FUEL.

Thought this was curious and so I think it's worth mentioning. When Mommy jumps down from the ceiling she's pretty upset at us. But after a couple seconds her eyes dilate and she takes on this strange serenity. She stops jittering, her movements become very slow and methodical. And until she's literally caught in a grinder, she also doesn't say a single word beyond that point despite being so passionate beforehand.

Huggy Wuggy was exactly the same.

I've always found it weird that we meet Huggy at the start of Chapter 1 and he doesn't attack us on sight. It's quite obviously the same one that does later since he goes missing after a while, so why isn't he moving then? I can't imagine he'd pretend to be inanimate for no reason. Maybe after meeting him he experienced a mental break or disillusive realization similar to Mommy here? I don't have a theory, a hypothesis would be more accurate... Just thought the parallels were interesting.

Her death was brutal not gonna lie, literally her screaming as she was getting crushed gave me chills, especially the part where her lifeless body falls and she still has a smile, Jesus ima have nightmares
