Your tip to add oil to the masks is a gamechanger. The mask does make my hair have this weird dry feeling as well. Adding the oil fixes that.

Be careful with the steamer Britt. I have heard people say it can cause damage if used too frequently. That depends on your hair of course. Also I know that you are big on actual black owned brands. We know some of these bigger brands are no longer black owned. Are you interested in trying some smaller brands that are? If so I know of a few. Thanks for this video. I have these products but have not tried yet.

Havent reached for Carol's Daughter in yearrrrsss but glad to see your review.You are so thorough and consistent with making sure to give the brands a fair shot by purchasing the deep conditioner mask yourself before judging the products they sent you. Love that and missed the hair content so glad they are back.

Going back to the deep conditioner. I think that specific one is more protein base than a moisturizing conditioner. So I personally don't expect alot of moisture \ hydration from repairing conditioners. Hope that helps.

I’ve tried this brand many many years ago, when the old owner had a Carols Daughter store in Newport Mall. It was a no for me then and being under new owners, it’s no now.

Thanks for the review. I liked Carol’s Daughter when the original creator and owner ran the company. The formulas changed when it was sold.

I’m definitely gonna try that leave in. I got the masque from Walgreens on clearance recently, but I have only patch-tested it so far. Then yesterday, I bought their Coco Creme shampoo and conditioner on clearance from Walgreens. My favorite Carol’s Daughter product of all time is the healthy hair butter, which was unique, all natural, and amazing for length retention and growth. I appreciate small businesses like yours that still produce all natural products. I love your hair oil and look forward to trying the rest of the line. 😊

I’m sorry but i just have to admire your hair I know you’ve been putting in that work and doing what you need to do for your hair but I just have to say it looks so good like i see it getting longer and it looks so healthy. I’ve been becoming more proactive about doing my hair and treating it right I love watching your vids for inspiration and knowledge and ideas.
