6 week half marathon training plan

In this short tutorial I take you through some of the strategies and rules you need to be aware of to plan a 6 week half marathon training plan for yourself. In fact, you can use the rules to plan for just about any distance or time period.

All coaches and all athletes are different and it's important you don't treat this plan as a hard and fast plan. Treat it more like an initial structure that you can build on and tweak and you won't go too far wrong.

This has given me so much peace of mind! I was so worried because this super long training program I had, I was behind schedule with 7ish weeks until race day. This though, I can do! It's simple and straight forward. Doesn't make it hard like most plans! Thank you. I am not behind where I need to be at all!

Your channel and your content are awesome, the half marathon is a wish for me, never done before, my maximum distance is 10k and it was few days a ago for the first time in my life, I was so proud of me 😂
I am going to plan the semi marathon to make a goal, I will start this program as soon as possible, maybe in next few weeks, wish me luck am gonna need it 😁 (43 years 25 years of smoking 89 kg)

Thank you for including strength and conditioning days here! I see way too many running plans that are just straight on running for 4-5 days/week. Cross training is so important!

Great tips !!!! My friends have enrolled me in a half marathon! Unfortunately, I have 3weeks to get ready !!!! I’m doing ten k at the moment !!! May have to walk a bit !!! Work the covid and all that has been difficult to train !!!! Will do more S C too . Great video

Wow! Thanks so much! Not only you gave me a first fresh idea on how to steer train in for my first half, but relieved some anxiety I was carrying bc of it. It’s going to be hard to respect the rest day tho! I know myself and I know I’ll try to push it :( for sure I’ll have one rest day and easy runs or workouts other 2 days
