Frostpunk 2 Makes Brutal Politics a Fantastic Game of Survival

The Frostpunk 2 release date is July 25, 2024 for PC and PC Game Pass with a release on Xbox Series S|X, Xbox Game Pass, and PS5 (PlayStation 5) at a later date.

Change to Unreal Engine 5 is really elevating. You don't reuse buggy parts of the game. You restart from scratch.
Skylines Cities 2 should done that way as well

love how "fans", if you can even call them that, seem to just punish the studio for trying to be innovative and not doing the exact same thing again. If you want to play Frontpunk 1, play Frotpunk 1. The game isn't even out and the only thing you can do is cry because you can't play the same thing again but with a 2 at the end. So sad, really

Loved the first, hesitant about this one. The first was small, gritty, and intimate. You felt it when your citizens died and the cold was a real threat. Im afraid this will be too big, too political rather than a survival game.

This is fascinating. The game demands a lot of emotional commitment. Perhaps this could serve as an an aptitude test for aspiring politicians.
