This makes me even more miss Ende Gelände, it is a kinda similar action but against coal mines in germany and collecting several 1000 people once a year - so obviously not happening this year.

Honest question: if the pipeline is not built, will they need an alternative way to transfer the oil? Will this be potentially worst than the pipeline itself? Or the hope is that they drop this entirely and find a different source of energy?

Why do they build those pipelines when electric is growing? Government should invest in battery research instead of petrol.

The question is now: if they don't build that pipeline how are they going to transport oil? By truck? Wouldn't that be worse?
