one quality tip: if you have trouble appraising enchant relics to abyssal relics, farm them on the depth area, they're pretty quite common from time to time rather than spending 200-300k, could save you a lot of money for depth rod. good luck fishers!

I started 4 days ago, i played roughly almost a day combined for my gameplay.

Pro tip to remember are;

- Know how to fish and capture fish.
- Buy the starter pack (optional, because boat and fosh raidar is very important)
- After that, fish and fish until you have enough money to improve and get training/plastic rod then grind till you buy steady rod.
- Now fish and fish, if you have relics, try getting hasty.

(This part was so freaking helpful)
- Glitch in the depths and catch fishes there.
- After farming (buy phoenix rod but optional, its good if you have resilient enchant, I promise)
- Get either;

Mythic Rod if youre good at capturing fish with a decent bar(+ it gives you a mythical mutation that multiplies the value of the fish)

Aurora rod is good too, same with mythical but i forgot the details.

King's rod if you want to get big fishes (but not recommended to grin money tho, theres much better rod to have instead of this)


OR

You can keep steady or Phoenix, then grind up to 150k cash then buy trident rod.


After that, grind your money till 750k + advanced gears, and 2 relics.


I kind of speed run mine becaude my friend gave me 2 relics and I grinded my money. (Now i have rotd with abyssal)

My progress rod went

Fisher's Rod --> Plastic Rod --> Steady Rod --> Mythical Rod --> Phoenix Rod --> Trident --> ROTD

I mean, mythical is good but I prefer phoenix rod with resilient! Thats all!

Pro tip : head to forsaken shores, get up to the small pond and fish until you find a few captain's goldfishes (They sell for a LOT)

Pro tip 2 : head to ancient isle, find the waterfall and fish there. It's the best fishing spot in my opinion

Pro tip 3 : Use aurora rod, as the aurora mutation makes your fish worth 6.5x, unlike the mythical mutation with 4.5x
