I was a child of the 60's. I kept thinking will music ever equal that era again? I am at the gym, (yep I was 46 at the time), and I hear this song--Crawling. Who the heck is that? That was when I fell in love with Linkin Park. I'm 70 now and I'm still in love with them.

I was a teenager when i discovered this album. It opened the doors to metal music. I remember listening to it with my dad in the car, he really liked it. It lead him to take an interest in the music i was listening to, we discovered In Flames, At the Gates, Children of Bodom, up to Aborted and other heavier stuff. I’m 48, Linkin Park fan since 2000, and last Saturday, May 3, was my first Linkin Park concert in Baltimore. I traveled from Puerto Rico to see them and It was one of the best experiences that I had. A lot of feelings, Chester will be the one no matter what.

I was in senior high when this album came out and the 1st time I got my very own salary from mowing a neighbors lawn and this is the 1st thing I bought. A cassette tape album that me and my buddies grow up with playing on my boom box wherever we go. My heart bleeds whenever I hear an LP's song. No one will replace Chester in our life.

I never knew Chester Bennington was so depressed that he killed himself, I found out yesterday. His music was such a massive comfort to me when I was a teenager, so I'm listening to all his music in tribute now. It's wonderful. He was such a kind soul.
