I was an angry teenage girl with a lot of problems at school and with myself, didn't know what to do with all the emotions I had in me, Chester's voice helped me through really horrible times. I remember sitting and listening to their songs nonstop getting all that energy out. Part of my childhood is gone with him now, i didn't realize until now how much this band meant to me.

The first song from Linkinpark I ever heard was One Step Closer. My friends and I downloaded mp3s from Napster in 1999 and songs from Linkinpark were uploaded under the wrong name and we listened to the music in our cars while driving in Germany at one time Since they were still unknown to us, we knew immediately that we had found something cool to skate. It was the most beautiful summer, thank you for that, thank you for the goosebumps today
