With what we learned in Tales of the Jedi, it's also possible that Qui-gon might have been able to stop Dooku from fully commiting to Sideous had he survives.

Thank you for making a SW theory without padding time to make it 10 minutes

I can see Qui-Gon leaving the jedi order and become a gray Jedi as well as preventing Anakin from falling to the dark side

Theory suggestion, what if Vader got through to Luke in ESB and he became Vader’s apprentice

You realize that if Anakin is Qui-gon's apprentice... Ahsoka probably is Obi-Wan's.

I actually suspect Qui Gon would have refused the mantle of Jedi general, if not left the order

I would like to think that he would have pulled master Dooku back to the light 😌👍

Uh…Qui would NEVER endorse the Jedi going to war. He would have left and took Anakin and Obi Wan (unless he’s stubborn) with him.

"Anakin became a Jedi Knight, “ Obi-Wan interjects, a thread of steel in his voice. "He served valiantly in the Clone Wars. His fall to darkness was more his choice than anyone else’s failure. Yes, I bear some responsibility–and perhaps you do, too–but Anakin had the training and the wisdom to choose a better path. He did not." - Obi-Wan Kenobi to the ghost of Qui-Gon Jinn

It is just as likely that Anakin would have turned out worse if he was mentored by someone who did nothing but feed his ego as "the Chosen One." Go back and look at the way he actually treats Obi-Wan in Episode I. Would Anakin Skywalker have had the same patience as Kenobi did? Anakin was 19 when he butchered the Tuskans, the exact same age as Luke was in Episode IV. Grown men. They knew right from wrong.
Also, this preoccupation with Filoni's completely wrong interpretations about the Prequels is making this fandom worse.

The Jedi were not stupid.

That is the biggest divergence between Lucas and Filoni.

They knew what the Senate was and they were perfectly aware that they shouldn't be leading armies into battle. George Lucas always described them as "drafted." The Jedi were given no choice. If they don't fight in The Clone Wars, they put their personal morals above the lives of every last man, woman, and child who would suffer under the Seperatists. Real people like Numa and the Togruta of Kiros. It would likewise mean that men like Tarkin and Ozzel would be fast-tracked up the ladder in the Republic, then Empire's, military. Rex and Cody would have to answer to men like them. Men famous for cruelty and not competence.
