I came here, liked and commented because Phu was crying about views in the video after this. I knew all of this info, but still watched.
I hope you appreciate this Phu.

7:04 if you don’t like the slack of a traditional free coaster try a BSD revolution hub or a 90east hub or a alienation Venus hub 👍🚲💨

You’re absolutely amazing bro very informative. I love the video. I love how you teach us about a cassette and a free coaster and how you gave us an example in the beginning of the video 🚲but I have a cassette and I was I was riding I tried peddling, I thought my chain came off the back sprocket, but it wasn’t. It was fully on the back and the front but it wasn’t going nowhere and I lookedat my hub and it was all opened, and I am assuming some of the Ball bearings went missing so what do I do now?

I've been on a khe style (Shadow)coaster for 10 yrs. It slips because the splines on the clutch wear down. I've only replaced 1clutch($30) ever. I dont have that ball spring in my hub because it didnt come with it that Phu mentions at 9:30. I had 2 homies who khe style coasters and would put pedal pressure to pivot out of fakies instead of half cab. They ruined their clutches because of that. They replaced em as I suggested and problem solved once again.

Can I get a link to where I can get that dope shirt?

needle bearings have a bigger contact surface with the racers so they have a higher load capacity and thinner for space issues,

So, where do you get the replacement spring? Looks like very specific and probably hard to find an exact match in a hardware store…

In the 1970s there hubs where if you peddled back you would get rear brakes, I cant remember what the cranks would do if you went backwards, we didn't have BMX bikes we jumped our chopper bikes, I got a bmx bike when they came out and got tuffs when they came out, happy days, we went clean across the city on our BMX bikes, I got into motorbikes trucks trades mechanics building with all the material complexity, the BMX bikes were good reliable strong bikes, in retrospect I should have got more into BMX biking as a hobby

Taper bearings handle radial loads better vs needle. Needle bearings don't handle side loading. Taper bearing is the same style they have used for car and truck wheel aka hub bearings for years, although new cars today use sealed bearings
