My ex gf did exactly this. She developed a refusal to think that she could have found "mr right" as a 21 year old. This dude she threw Matt under the bus for, probable dumped her soon after but she's not going to bring that up, especially if no one knows about it.

Women have to undestand that as soon as she plays the “break-up card” it is game over when you deal with HVM.
As Matt says she has now lost your trust and thus the chance to ever rekindle the relationship she chose to leave.
I actually think that is a blue-pill fantasy many women have. They think that “The ex” will welcome them with open arms as soon as she is done “discovering herself” only to fall flat on their face sulking about the past and what could have been. A rude awakening indeed.

As blue pilled and Beta as Matthew was, and as weak as he acted during the separation, his eventual move to carry on with his life and cut Karen off forever, skyrocketed her respect and attraction for him. Matt is one of the best out there. I had the same experience in my early twenties. My fiance left me for someone else. She thought the grass would be greener. There was no grass for her at all. She was begging for me back at 26 after trying to find something better. I never took her back after that. She is almost 40 now. No husband no kids, and now after hitting the wall she realizes no guy would ever want to marry her. She squandered her opportunity. Dont ever take these women back after they try to monkey branch.
