Revealing some of the comments that Ana receives, Texie told Truly: "She gets people asking her all the time, 'Why are you with Texie? She's small, she looks like a child, don't you feel disgusted sometimes?'" Determined to ignore the hate, the pair have exciting news - they're engaged! Today, we'll follow the couple as they go wedding dress shopping, but Texie's short 3ft 6" height means finding a suitable dress will create obstacles that many brides don't face. Speaking about her worries, Texie feared: "It's going to swallow me. It's not going to fit. I'm going to get upset." Will Texie get her dream dress?

My 6'1 daughter is dating a lovely girl who has a brittle bone issue (not sure of the exact diagnosis) who is 4 ft something. Ive never seen my daughter so happy. Good luck ladies.

I’m not as small as her but as someone 4’8 whose been searching g for a dress just to be turned down in every store, and told I should just wear a children’s dress for my wedding this hit home. I unfortunately never found a store willing, but my lovely seamstress friend is making me my dream dress from scratch

You'd think that instead of being angry and hostile towards them, society would be happy that she could find someone that loves her. As a disabled person, I have been told I'll never find love and I'm not a little person. I can't imagine the struggles she must have had in her life. I'm glad she found her person <3

As an orthopedic shoemaker I really don’t get why it is so hard to find a dress for her. All she did was fitting her a normal dress. Why couldn’t the other shops provide this service?
